Hi folks! Brad Barnes here.

The ability to play guitar is for many people the pinnacle of "lifestyle skills".

Whether you see yourself entertaining yourself, your friends, your kids, or even your fans on stage, you see yourself doing it WITH A GUITAR.

CONGRATULATIONS! Now you've decided to do something about it.

A small percentage of people are able to learn from books and YouTube alone, teaching themselves with minimal guidance and getting good results. If this is you, you rock! Truly. That's an amazing skill you have being able to teach yourself complex skills and disciplining yourself to practice these skills until you nail them.

For many other people, the best way to get those coveted guitar skills is with the help of a teacher.

And though, as people become technologically savvy, some folks prefer the convenience of online Skype lessons, other folks strongly feel like they need and will really benefit from the hands-on teaching when they have a teacher there in person.

For folks in the Far North Dallas, Plano, East Carrollton, Frisco and other nearby Texas areas, I'm available to help guide you as you begin or continue your guitar journey.

STAYING IN MY LANE

I have taught a LOT of students of pretty much all ages and backgrounds over the last 20+ years. I've learned quite a few things about guitar teaching in all this time, and one of the most critical things is that...

No teacher is an ideal fit for every single student.

For me, it's important that I know my limits and "stay in my lane".

If you are interested in advance country lead guitar for instance, you should have a teacher that is an excellent and experienced (and hopefully gigging) country lead guitar player.

As far as I'M concerned, I do not specialize in advanced jazz, advanced country, or intermediate/advanced classical, or numerous other things. Be sure to let me know exactly what you're looking for and if I don't think I'm the best fit for you I will let you know. If I know a better teacher for your precise goal I am happy to give you their contact info.

I teach a LOT of things WELL. I'm more than happy to let others who teach those other things WELL lend their expertise to you instead.

SO IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS LET ME KNOW! I'm happy to help you see if this is a good fit for you.

IF YOU'RE READY TO GET THINGS STARTED, LET'S DO IT!
